Thanks for visiting my site!

My name is Kate Welch. When other kids wanted to be the president or a nurse, I always knew I wanted to be an artist! I studied drawing, painting and sculpting at Fontbonne College for two years. During that time, I spent a semester in Paris studying drawing and painting. I continued my education with 4 years at Rochester Institute of Technology studying graphic and communication design. After graduating, I worked in the design and advertising field in Manhattan. Choosing to stay home and raise my children, I started my own hand-painted clothing line. After relocating to Charlotte, NC, I began my wall mural and faux finishing business. That business continued after relocating to Bucks County, PA in addition to the beginning of my floorcloth business which started about ten years ago. I hope you enjoy my work!

Customer Testimonials

Kate just completed two floorcloths for my business and I am 100% satisfied! The larger of the two is for the carpeted entryway. Not only does it look fabulous but it protects the carpet from the traffic coming in with mud and salt. The floorcloth cleans up with a quick wipe of a damp cloth. The second floorcloth is on a wood floor with a pad underneath to prevent slippage. It, too, looks great! I receive many, many compliments on them and they add the perfect touch to the decor.”

We received our floorcloth as a wedding gift. We love the character that it adds to our room. It is a beautiful artistic piece that helps make our floor look fun, attractive, and warm. This is one of the most unique gifts that we received, and we are very happy with it.”

I just received my floor cloth from Kate about a week ago. We use it for under our dogs food and water bowl, but I feel so bad using as such because it is SO beautiful! Kate was great to work with regarding my design, colors, and the urgency in my request. The floor cloths are so easy to clean, just wipe with a little fantastic and its good as new.”
